Please wrap your mantle of loving protection around him, his wife Christine, and their family. Please press their needs to your Son's Most Passionate Heart. Please bring Chris and his loved ones your Son's Healing Peace. We pray for Chris's comfort, for excellent care from his doctors, for support and love for him and his family from all who love them, and if it is our Heavenly Father's will, we pray for Chris to be healed from his illness. We humbly ask this in your Son's Name, Mother. Please intercede for this good servant of your Son. Amen.

She had a heart transplant Nov. 24,2008. Jan. 31,2009 she was admitted to the Cleveland Clinic Hospital and is still there. Alexandra's body was rejecting the heart. She has suffered a slight stroke that has affected her right hand and leg. Alex is only 14 years old. She was moved out of PICU into her new room. She will have her heart cath test on both sides on her heart to check for rejection and blood vessels. Please pray that Alex makes a full recovery and will be an example for other heart transplant children. Thank you for your prayers."

He went to the Doctor again. They think the cancer has pretty well closed off the airway in the one lung. He is finding it a little harder to breathe. They are going to check in Indianapolis to see if there are any clinical trials available there for the type of cancer he is diagnosed with. This past Friday, November 7th, we got the phone call we were dreading. My mom couldn't breath, My sister, Sissy, had to call 911, and they took her to the hospital. There they told my sister to call all the family in because they didn't think she would make it. They went in and put in a trach so she could breath. She was in the ICU for a while but since they can't really do anything in there except do comfort care, they decided to put her in a private room until we all can figure out what to do. She finally got to come home Monday 17th and is at my brother's. The doctors came in yesterday and said she could go any day now. I'm writing because we need all the help and prayers we can get."

I do not smoke, drink, or use drugs. I have some very demonic, and evil women from Hurricane Katrina and Ike Storm that are envious of me. I just moved from one shelter because it was unbearable-a health threat, and people spreading lies that I am rich. The men harassing me, and I had to get tough with them to save myself. I ask, in the name of Jesus, that I will get a financial windfall. I have applied for a job ringing bells, I have several years experience, and no one has emailed me yet. There is so much jealousy because I am praying and trying to do what is right, that these hurricane victims at the shelter our slandering me, prowling around my bed area at night when they are supposed to be sleep. They stare at me the whole time I'm there in the evening to the point it is very uncomfortable indeed. I ask for a better job or this Christmas job and a hedge of protection around me-going and coming. Also, many are practicing voodoo/witchcraft. I had surgery almost two weeks ago-a tooth pulled out, and it is hurting all of a sudden. My toes and foot are burning in the morning. She had an experimental surgery in Louisiana at the beginning of August and was in the ICU there until this past weekend when she was strong enough to fly to Austin to St. David’s. They were expecting her to need a few weeks more of recovery before she could go home. At first she was OK, but then she started having trouble again and they had to move her to ICU. A CT scan last night came back “very bad” and they aren’t going to be able to do anything more for her. The family is visiting with her and they are just trying to keep her comfortable. She is an incredibly strong believer, but this has still been a very difficult fight for her and her family. They thought they would lose her several other times over the years, and maybe God will come through with another miracle this time, but it doesn’t sound good right now."

Please pray with us for his recovery, and please pray with us for his wife, who loves him so very much. We ask you to wrap your mantle of comfort around her as she cares for her husband, and we ask you to press their needs to your Son's Most Sacred Heart. Amen.

Holy Mother Mary, we lift up this prayer from Teresa, who loves her daughter so very much: "My daughter Ashley was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2005. She went thru 4 craniotomies and now has short term memory. She did well recovering from that but then in 2007 she had External Beam Radiation for the residual they could not get to. She has been ill on and off and has seen more of a hospital then her home. She has had complications with Diabetes Insipidus and with her hips from her steroid use during her radiation process. She is only 20 yrs old and has to have a hip replacement due to Avascular Necrosis of her right hip. I ask for prayers for good health and for her surgery to go well when they do it so she may walk again and be able to do things with her family. We miss her being home. Thank You."
