This week we have a very special story on the Mary’s Touch Radio Program:

• Scot Landry is a Catholic executive who has led numerous organizations including Catholic Voices USA, iCatholic Media, The Catholic Foundation of the Archdiocese of Boston and Boston Catholic Conferences. He now provides executive recruiting, consulting and coaching services to Catholic organizations and leaders at Good Catholic Leadership Group. He is the former Cabinet Secretary for Catholic Media at the Archdiocese of Boston, where he established and grew its new media ministry. He is a graduate of Harvard Business School and Harvard College, a former consultant at Andersen Consulting (Accenture) and Parthenon Group, and in brand management at P&G and James River Corp (now Georgia Pacific). He lives in suburban Boston with his wife and three children. Scot’s first book, Transforming Parish Communications: Growing the Church through New Media, is being published in August by Our Sunday Visitor.
• Scot shares with us about growing up Catholic, his mothers devotion to Our Blessed Mother and her leadership in The Legion of Mary, how they prayed the Rosary every day, he never once thought of his life without knowing that God loved them and sent his Son to save them and sent his Mother to take care of them, how his parents kept his family safe and out of trouble through prayers.
• He tells us the importance of taking new media information into the streets.
• Scot was instrumental in getting the Mary’s Touch Radio Program in his area.
• Listen to his Rome story, it is amazing –when Scot goes to Rome he takes an entire suitcase full of rosaries (1,200), he then wheels the suitcase in the St. Peters Square to one of the masses, and he holds the suitcase really high when the Holy Father is fulfilling his apostolic blessing. He has seen the power in bringing the rosaries back and giving them to the people; it provides a spark.
