“I kept praying not one Rosary, but two Rosaries…three Rosaries…and daily Mass…and I told Blessed Mother, ‘I don’t want anything, I only would like my husband to understand, I want to go back home; I am thirsting for the Eucharist, and I need your help.’”

~ Milly

“…I listened to my Rosary on the way to work, and it was Thursday; so it was the Luminous Mysteries. The first Luminous Mystery is the Baptism at the River Jordan; the second Luminous Mystery is the Wedding Feast at Cana. As I was listening to the Hail Marys, all of a sudden the thought came into my head that all Mary said was, ‘They have no wine.’ She didn’t tell Jesus what to do; she didn’t ask him to do a specific thing; she didn’t give Him any instructions; she just went up to Jesus and said, ‘They have no wine.’ So I said, ‘Lord, they have no wine!’ Then I finished my Rosary.”

Cheri LomonteCheri Lomonte is the founder of Mary’s Touch and the Frontline Faith Project. In 2006, Cheri incorporated Mary’s Touch, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in Austin, Texas. At that time, she also began production of the radio show.

Mary’s Touch was honored in 2008, 2016 and 2017 with a Gabriel Award for outstanding Catholic radio programming, North America, from the Catholic Academy of Communication Arts Professionals.

In 2009, after learning that U.S. Troops can sometimes go for weeks and even months without benefit of the Mass or spiritual support from a chaplain, Cheri initiated the Frontline Faith Project.

Through this initiative, MP3 players, pre-loaded with more than 7 hours of Catholic content, are distributed at no cost to our Armed Forces.

The MP3 players include a Mass, an examination of conscience, homilies, prayers from children, Christian music, and stories of faith from Veterans and Service Men and Women. The Frontline Faith players provide much-needed support to Troops who may feel spiritually wounded or, because of the severe shortage of military chaplains, may be deprived of the spiritual support usually administered by a Catholic chaplain/priest.

The Frontline Faith Project was recently honored with a Clarion Award by the Catholic Academy of Communication Arts Professionals. For more information about the Frontline Faith Project, please visit www.frontlinefaithproject.org.

Cheri is an accomplished author and photographer. Her first book, The Healing Touch of Mary was published by Divine Impressions in 2005. This beautifully illustrated book features stories from people who have been graced by the intercession of our Blessed Mother. Their stories help us to better understand Mary and her Son Jesus, and they remind us that we have a Heavenly Mother who loves us and prays for us. The Spanish edition of the The Healing Touch of Mary, Experiencias de Vida con la Virgen María, is available through San Pablo Publishing.

In 2009, Cheri published her second book, Stories from Mary’s Touch. It features stories that were recorded during the first season of the Mary’s Touch radio program. It includes a beautiful Foreword, written by The Most Reverend Gregory Aymond, and an Introduction, written by Father Kevin Rai, S.T.D, theologian of the Austin diocese. Storytellers include John Patrick Cardinal Foley; The Most Reverend Michael D. Pfeifer, OMI, DD, Bishop of the Diocese of San Angelo; Father Daniel J. Mahan; Sister Rose Pacatte, FSP; musician, Matthew Mayer; actor, Eduardo Verástegui; and Sherri Davis. The cover features a photograph from award-winning photographer, Patricia D. Richards. In a review by Midwest Book Review, Stories from Mary’s Touch was praise for being, “a collection of…inspirational… stories to be treasured.”

Currently, Cheri is working on a new book featuring her botanical images. Her New Passion! You can find her work at Divine Impressions.
