Pope Francis proclaimed 2015 a Year of Consecrated Life! This week we have a very special guest of the religious life on the Mary’s Touch program:

  • We honor Sr. Mary Lou Barba, a native of San Antonio. She met the Missionary Catechists of Divine Providence in her freshman year of high school and began the journey of answering the call to be a religious sister. She currently is the Children’s Faith Formation Director at Emmaus Parish in Lakeway, Texas.
  • Sr. Barba shares her amazing story on how and why she had an early calling to become a religious sister.
  • She shares that reflecting daily on her vows, her love of the Blessed Mother and praying Marian devotions all help her be that “balanced person, here for God.” God is her source of joy, a joy which she shares on a daily basis.
